The Gayton News is the village newsletter, published four times a year, and delivered FREE to all households in the village. Extra copies may be obtained (by pre-arrangement, cost 30p, contact the editor).

Information on all village activities, including future events, past activities, Parish Council news and that of other village groups, is reported. A large section of the News is devoted to the school and includes a report from the headteacher and samples of pupils’ work. Any villager is welcome to contribute any item of interest, whether it be news, a personal story or opinion, or a controversy.

Advertisements may be placed in the magazine, and the current rates are shown below. It is possible to arrange delivery of the Gayton News to persons outside the village at a cost of 60p per copy, plus postage if relevant.

Publishing Dates

Gayton News is published 4 times a year, late March, late June, late September and just before Christmas. Deadlines for contributions are early March, June, September and December, respectively.
