The Gayton village email message system is an important tool which is used to help communicate important matters to villagers. It is managed by at least 2 volunteers who ensure that it operates impartially and in the best interests of the Village. The system currently covers about 75% of all households in Gayton.
It is independent of the Parish Council, a way to distribute community help messages, give early notification about problems, e.g. road maintenance closures, improved security through receiving NHW messages, and a greater awareness of village-wide activities.

• There will be no marketing, selling or advertising.
• There will be no campaign emails.

Before any message is sent, it is assessed to ensure it is appropriate and meets the required criteria.
