This small, well-kept, house began life as The Crown and Squirrel, assuming its present name in 1906. It retains a country pub atmosphere with a lively bar, a cosy lounge and a conservatory for dining.

For many years, “The Eykyn” has been known as a “games pub” and a number of teams participate in local leagues for skittles, pool and darts, in addition to which some of the locals are avid cribbage and domino players.
