Gayton Walking Group

Active since September 2003, this group meets regularly on the second Sunday morning of each month.

We assemble at Fiveways in the heart of Gayton for a prompt departure at 10am by car to the starting point of the walk which may be up to 10 miles away. We aim to return to Gayton before 1 pm.

Remember, as many walks are outside of the village and travelled to by car, it’s good to have alternative footware so as not to soil one of the volunteer drivers cars. Given the length of time taken for the walk, it would be good to have some form of snack to keep you going.

The distance walked is usually 4 to 6 miles and members are advised of the route in advance by email. If you are interested in joining the group, please contact Robin Kelso to have your name added to the email list.
