The Gayton Gardeners & Allotment Group are holding their annual Produce Show at Gayton Village Hall on Saturday 5th September from 1-5pm.

The Gayton Gardeners & Allotment Group are holding a Horticultural Quiz at the Eykyn Arms on Wednesday 19th August starting at 7:30pm

Enjoy an afternoon out in Gayton, on Sunday 7th June from 1pm to 5pm. Eight gardens will be open as well as the Allotments, Gayton Primary School Allotment and the Spinney. There is a Teddy Bear Trail to entertain younger visitors. Enjoy an afternoon tea, with homemade cakes and scones served in the church. A plant stall will sell home grown plants.
Admission is £6 adults, £3 for children, Family Tickets are available.

This event is raising much needed funds for St Mary’s Church, Gayton.


The Annual General Meeting of Gayton Village Hall will take place on Tuesday 2nd June at 7pm. All residents are warmly invited to attend and have their say in how the hall is run and maintained.
We are also seeking two new committee members to lead on fundraising and advertising — if you’d like to make a difference to your community, we’d love to hear from you.
Christmas Shopping Trips to Oxford, Cambridge & Milton Keynes Christmas Markets on the Gayton & Tiffield Community Minibus.

Come and have a look round 11 gardens in the village, see our hibernaculum in the Spinney, visit our beautiful allotments and follow the teddy bear trail!
Refreshments will be served in the church and there will also be plant sales. The village open gardens are always a lovely day out.

Christmas Shopping Trips to Milton Keynes Shopping Centre & Oxford Christmas Markets on the Gayton & Tiffield Community Minibus.

Please see attached the Categories List for our Produce Show which will take place on Saturday 3rd August and is open to all Gayton residents, not just Allotment and Gardeners Society. As you will see there are a lot of categories to enter, including the usual favourites (wonky veg) and quite a few children’s classes as well. Nearer the time an Entry form will be available from our Show Secretary, Tom Rathwell.
More details will follow but the timings to note are:
Thursday 1st final day for entries to be submitted.
Saturday 3rd 9.30 – 11.00 entries to be brought to the Village Hall.
11.00 – 1.00 Judging
1 – 4 ish Open to public
There will be lunches, tea/coffee, light refreshments and some indoor stalls including pottery, jewellery, children’s activities, art and crochet. Please save any items you may be able to donate to the Raffle.
There will be a Guess the Weight of the Pumpkin or Marrow competition (depending on availability).
There are prizes to be won in some children’s competitions, thank you to those who’ve kindly donated them and there’s a new glass vase for the best flower.

Coronation Weekend Celebrations for Gayton – Saturday 6th to Monday 8 May 2023.

On Tuesday 25th April there will be the Pizza Van outside the pub from 5.30pm and a Jazz and Blues band playing from 6pm, so come down and enjoy some great music while eating your pizza’s.
