  • Wildflowers in the Millennium Spinney – 19 April 2026

The Spinney Working Group have had a couple of Wildflower planting sessions in the Spinney; we have planted some of the Wildflowers near the Hibernaculum and others in the original Wildflower area near the back of the Spinney.

Both areas have been roped off to protect the Wildflowers whilst they are getting established.

The Wildflowers we planted last Autumn are looking good, as are the Bluebells, and the Hibernaculum has “greened-up” nicely, so please go and wander around the Spinney and enjoy the Spring colour.

All the Wildflowers were purchased for the Spinney from Blisworth Wild Flowers and generously funded by the Gayton Alms Charity.
